30 Years of Love
Updated: Sep 26, 2019
As a physic, I spend time with clients who typically are looking for love. Even with all the technology, people are still trying to find someone to share their lives with. I know I was. And thirty years ago, about the only way to meet someone was at work, at a bar or through some random meeting – like on the stairs in your apartment building. That’s where I met mine. He was coming back from windsurfing, a sport I only knew about from Mountain Dew commercials.
I didn’t know this cute windsurfer would change my life, but he did. We were friends for a long time and then we dated and broke up quite a few times. It took us awhile to determine that we were meant to be together forever. But thirty years ago, today we made that commitment.
Marriage isn’t easy and it never goes as planned. It truly is a roller coaster ride.
For all of those out there who are looking for love, don’t give up. Don’t be afraid to try new ways to meet new people. And don’t be afraid to reach out and ask, “what is that thing?” You may get to meet your windsurfer. And ride the waves of life for 30 years.
